Wheels to fit my car... I dont get this et business...

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I have brembo lcr calipers and im wondering if THESE wheels would fit over them without spacers. If not how much space needed?

You might find you may req. the centre to be bored out as they were on a scoob

Its impossible to say without knowing the ET of them.

You also need to know the centre bore size / spigot ring size as you need 57.1mm

seems that Rota boosts (17x7.5) come in ET 35, 40, 45 & 48 variants - so if you were going for that particular set, the exact ET would need to be established. But as a whole, the ETs aren't particularly friendly....

agreed that need to know the centre bore / spigot ring size too...

You could buy my twists & adapters ;) - at least you'd know that they'd clear brembos....

Im scared my wheel bearings will end up like Luke's.

Is boring out the center thingamajig something that is possible or just a idea that hasn't been put to practice yet?

It's possible but expensive in my experience. Adapters won't muller your wheel bearings overnight

just buy my lcrs lol, ive got 6 for sale, the orange will go nice with the blue

Et is is easy - lower the ofset the further the wheels stick out - higher the offset closer the wheels sit in the arch

Good rule of thumb  ...... just remember though the ET works in conjunction with the wheel width, so an 8" wide rim with an ET of 35 will have less clearance on both the inner and outer arch that on a narrower wheel.

This Wheel Offset Calculator is a useful tool.

I spent a long time playing with that calculator working out my offsets on the d90`s lol
