Turbo replacement options for BLT eninge

Featured Replies

My turbo has not expired (touches wood) but im wondering what the options are when it does.

I see lots of posts but im wondering if these refer to the ASZ engine.

For the BLT engine can anyone recommend a standard turbo replacement, pd150 turbo replacement, a hybrid replacement and if possible part numbers.

Thanks

They are the same as asz`s

I didn't think you were into modifying or upgrading mate.

However, the standard turbo will cost you about £800 to replace but are sometimes on offer for about £500 at various outlets. The PD150 bog standard a few pounds more but should last a lot longer as it won't be working as hard. A PD150 hybrid cost just under £1k. but will need remapping to get the best out of it plus fitting charges for all of them. I would not be buying any secondhand, it won't be bargain, the only way is a new one for longh time reliability.

Turbos are not cheap and short cuts in these parts can lead to premature failure.
