Possibly a daft question, but a friend has told me I may have to get the electrics 'reset' if I disconnect the battery and will have to go to a skoda dealership to get this done? I think he's talking out of his backside, but also I cant remember ever disconnecting the battery since getting my truck. He has sown a seed of doubt in my mind! Is he correct, or can I disconnect the battery without needing a skoda dealership computer?

it's all cobblers squire!! on the petrol ones they do run a little bit odd for a while while they self adapt but no major head aches to worry about..... the only thing to be careful of is that you have the code for the radio
