CR 170 performance

I'm right with you!

Having seen Shark Performance two weeks ago, Kevin has been transformed with now around 185-190bhp and is really a Yeti vRS.

I have now got back the performance I had with my Octavia vRS TDI with the benefit of 4x4. ;)B)

I had to go down to Paddock Wood last night. First drive since the long trip down to Newquay and back. I had a play and even without the DPF removal, the power delivery is amazing, feels so linear, with no feeling of power drop off after 3000rpm, just revs freely to the red line, when it just changes up. Have to watch it as when overtaking a couple of cars doing 40 in a 60 limit, it is soooo easy to break the speed limit when overtaking, you just choose the right gear like a petrol and then pull out, check it is safe then accelerate......what fun....better reign myself in though and keep the speed up to the speed limit where it is safe to do so.....emoticon-0136-giggle.gif.

For those who don't know, Elsie the Helipad also visited Shark Performance in January this year, who added some extra whoosh and a flappy paddle MFSW. Great Job Ben. I use the paddles all the time when out of town......Not much then emoticon-0140-rofl.gif.

I suspect that I'm around the 175-180bhp mark if you are 'only' 185/190bhp....emoticon-0142-happy.gif

As an aside, anybody noticed that on many, many main roads the speed limit is 40 or 50mph, whereas the side roads off the main roads are national speed limit and you would have to have had your brain removed to go over 20mph let alone 30mph along them.....emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

Hi Mike

loads of drivers must have had that op around here then, 3 corners on 2 roads within 2 miles of me claim 2-3 cars a week and thats per corner and they have large chevron sign's well visible :wonder:, most just end up in the Fields but I see the results of cars coming together 4-5 times a year.

no he would be going straight down the aerodrome road which is on the really bad corner but if he had to go round it who knows

I think you mean it's a wolf in sheeps clothing..unless it looks the business but is a gutless wonder??

I happen to think it looks rather wolfie myself, but yes I got the quote the wrong way round...doh!, I blame the bottle of wine I was enjoying at the time.
