normally at the fly as its the bigger figure and sounds better lol

what about the torque?

  • Author

Is the torque the same both st the flywheel and wheels?

Mine is 330lbft

You forgot to mention you also have an uprated clutch and a single mass flywheel

Otherwise people are gonna point out that amount of torque will kill a standard clutch/flywheel setup

It says in his signature that he is running:

201BHP - 273ft/lb

Turbo Technics Stage 2 pd150 HYBRID!

Yes my 224bhp and 370lb.ft... I get the performance out of mine based on the 224bhp not the torques.

In fairness, it was half a troll post. However depending on where it has 330lb.ft and until when really depends if its any good. I had/have higher torque figures, and it keeps them across the rev range rather well, hense the performance. I would rather have 330lb.ft peak, and keep it for 1,250 - 1,500rpm than 370lb.ft for all of 100rpm or so, then it drop sub 300...

Yes people get distracted by peak figures when they mean almost jack all

The higher up the rev range it is and the longer it holds out for the better

None of this 1800rpm stage 1 junk lol

Mine is bog standard. 2 years ago (March 09) I put it on a Rolling Road at Motoscope in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. This is what I got:

Max Power - Wheels - 114.5 bhp @ 3,838 rpm

Max Power - Engine - 143.3 bhp @ 4,055 rpm

Max Torque - 249.9 lbft @ 2,116 rpm
