hello

can any body help the indicators on my 02 octavia est, seem to choose when to work-they will work fine- the put a couple of quick flashes or no flashes.if i switch them off & on again or switch the hazzard button on they then work.

any ideas?

would this be the stalk /switch or relay?

i have just had a towbar fitted- might that have caused the problem?

Next time they stop working hit the dash just above the hazard light switch, if they start working then it's the hazard switch/relay as it's all in one. Though just by reading the discription it sounds exactly like mine was when the switch/relay went.

If its the relay I am thinking of its part of the hazard warning triangle switch in the centre of the dashboard. Mine went at about 60k. Main dealer cost about £28 and a two minute job to replace. There was something on the forums about it somewhere if you search.
