Parrot CK3100 Multican + Stereo Code?

Featured Replies

Sorry for asking about this as I've done a search and found lots and lots of threads about installing bluetooth kits, but not specifically these ...

1. In the next couple of days I plan to install a Parrot CK3100 kit, but wondered if anyone had one of these with the fitted with the compatible Multican adaptor so that I can use the steering wheel buttons (though that doesn't have phone buttons on it?). Does this allow you to use the buttons on the stalk that you would normally use with MFD or is it just for the MFSW? Do you think the multican worth the extra £60 or so it will cost?

2. I have an Audience MP3 head unit but I don't have a code for it? Will this be needed or does it use 'comfort coding' - the manual doesn't seem to be clear ...

If it makes any difference I'm fitting these to a May 2007 Octavia L&K with standard Audience MP3 (no amp, 8 speakers).

Thanks for your help

Just incase anyone asks similar questions in the future and finds this ...

I didn't bother with the Multican as I couldn't find an answer and wasn't prepared to risk the money to find out! The Audience HU did not ask for a code after reconnecting the battery, though it is the original unit in the car.
