Grommet behind glovebox goes through firewall into the engine bay.

do i need to take any engine components away to get to it? or remove glove box?

I used the same hole as the rear wash pipe goes through the engine bay to the passenger footwell.

The only downside is the hole is fairly small, so poking the wire through took some time

If you're doing this for a subwoofer I'd probably look at taking the feed from the live distributor under the driver's side of the dash rather than the battery. That way you don't have to feed a fat wire capable of handling what the sub needs through the firewall or drill holes.

I took my glovebox off (6 screws i think) and you have to put your hand in the top left corner and push the rubber grommet through. Pop the bonnet and look in the top right underneath your windscreen scuttle and you will see the hole where you popped the grommet through.

I have been thinking about doing this surly a small sub (200w) wouldn't draw too much power. Have you wired one up in this way yourself? Don't want to have to run power to the engine bay if I can avoid it.
