Gearbox oil change

And OEM is perfect freezing cold or red hot.

Even that slight difference goes some way to show how its not just about the viscosity.

It will be because it is a "motorsport" oil........but when it is warm I have found it to be way better than OEM!!!!...which is why I got it!!! B)

Sorry to bring this up but I want to change the oil on my Octavia PD130 6 speed, are people using the dealers or going to the motorfactors for their oil, if so is it the 75/90? Any help would be appreciated.

It's not 75/90 in the 6 speed box's. Go.to the dealers and get correct oil. For the sake of a few quid its not worth the risk of destroying ur nice, expensive 6 speed box.

Dealer told me it is 75w90.

Audi specialist says they use 75w90 semi synthetic GL5

opie oils lists it as 75/80 for the fabia vrs, thats what ive used in my fabia £10 a litre for fuchs TITAN SINTOFLUID, as said mine took around 2.2, to fill up after leaving for ages to drain, so your need more then 2 if its the 6 speeder.
