Cool battery warning

Featured Replies

Got in the furby this afternoon and started her up and on the maxidot display pops up a warning that the battery in my key fob need changing. Cool.

I know my Sky box can tell me when the battery in the remote is getting low so not exactly new tech but still brought a smile to my face.

Any other simple features that make you smile?

Unfortunately, I have the opposite problem, no smiles - The 'BING' I am now getting every bloody time I switch the thing on because it wants servicing is getting a bit annoying!

Never knew the low battery thing existed though, that's pretty cool :)

I suppose I should be grateful for the low oil warning on the maxidot a few months back due to my incompetence in checking the oil level :p

on the mk1 you just hold down the tacho reset then turn on the ignition whilst still holding it, for roughly 10 seconds. might work on this too
