Featured Replies

Soz if this has been covered folks, apparently theres a new recall for the DPF on PD 170s so my dealer told me 2day! Might worth peeps givin them a shout!!

Any build numbers or dates available for effected cars??

I'd be interested in hearing more about this please.

it'll be for the revised software and maybe dpf sensor not sure but definitely the software, just alters when your car regenerates

My car is at my loca; dealer today for a service i will ask them tonight and post responce...

OK, asked dealer if they knew of any new software updates for the 2.0pd engine and the reply was NO not at the moment, if he gets any in the next week or so will let me know, or if anyone finds out before could they let me know and i'll check with the dealer..

Well mine is booked in for the recall next thurs! It was in on wed past as im havin probs with the dpf and aparently theres a recall for a new sensor! Possibly a pressure sensor and software upgrade il no more when its done!! I really dont know model years ect, im assuming its all 170pd's!!

It won't be all of them as not all of them have the same sensor.

I'll check, not heard anything as yet myself. VW and SEAT did have that recall sometime ago.

That would be the 26E6 campaign. Upgraded o2 pressure sensor and ECU MAP. It worked that well that my car is now DPF-less :)

My 08 car had 26E6 from new and never had a single DPF issue. That didn't stop me taking it off though :D
