Yes the bodykit was uber subtle on the Tickford. I bet that slab front grille panel did sod all for airflow to the engine.

Actually saw a few classics as I came through Heald Green this afternoon at about 5, an Austin 7 was the only one I recognised but I assumed they were from the Tatton Show.

Cheers steve....wanted more time trying out the camera but the kids and missus started to get bored and taking the peas out of me ("think your David Bailey do you?"), cant blame em really...how many times can a 7 yr old look at a car from different angles and not help but get bored? Now a grown man.......well i ran out of time rather than angles

As for the F40 you can mod a capri with tack but an F40.....still wouldn't mind it hough

I did stare at the photo for a while earlier, in horror more than anything - and something did strike me as 'not quite right' about it. Proportions I thought - so the MR2 theory might well be right!

The 348 looking one next to it doesn't look right either, unless it's just sitting that way.

Really hope that F40 is an MR2 underneath, who would do that to the real thing?

I'm sure that yellow one in the background is an MR2 underneath all that kit. Not bad as hoaxes go though !

Wonder if I cold fit that Ferrari under-bumper splitter on the old Fabia VRS. LOL
