Hey guys. Ive got myself a Fabia Vrs 1 2004. Loving the car so much, that i had it re-mapped, and a new Sachs competition clutch and flywheel fitted. There's 77000 miles on the clock, and full service history with skoda from new.

I was wondering what the procedure would be if i was to upgrade the turbo?

Any ideas and advice much appreciated.

You have three main choices as far as turbo's go, pd150, pd130 hybrid, pd 150 hybrid.

As you've got the sachs performance clutch I'd go for the latter. Budget £1500 minimum for a new turbo fitted and mapped. You will need a FMIC too, Ideally bigger front brakes too as a minimum.

Here's is a detailed build thread of a chap who installed a pd150 hybrid (plus a lot more).

Yeah, i was thinking about the braking issue to be honest. Haha. Thanks for the advice. Thanks for the link aswell mate.

as mentioned if it isnt broke no need to fix it. I have just replaced my turbo and it was really expensive, cost around £1500 all in. You are better off upgrading other parts as mentioned, brakes, intercooler, clutch etc..
