Hi, I'm off to collect a KW variant 1 coilover kit this evening and I've just spotted some nice rims that are as described in the post title. I've tried searching the forum and looked at the sticky's but can't find a definitive answer.

Can anyone confirm if these are going to fit, assuming I don't wind the coilovers all the way down? I'm more worried about the front than the rear.

hi, they will sit 25mm further out from the arch and have 25mm less clearance on the inside [compared to std] if i worked it correctly that is! but im pretty sure people have fitted similar spec wheels[to fab vrs'] before and been ok, im sure someone will correct me if im wrong though

I think it will need a 3/4/5mm spacer on the front to stop it from hitting the suspension. rears should be ok.

The rear will be fine.

and the fronts WILL NOT FIT, unless you use a 5mm spacer.

(comparing to my wheels)

Inner Clearance: 6mm LESS (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)

You don't have 2mm to play with never mind 6mm lol

That's brilliant, thanks for all the info. The 35 et was already allowing for 25mm 5 x112 to 5x110 adapters, think I'll give them a miss as 30mm spacers on the front sounds a bit too much for my liking!

No problems. You could run wider spacers/adaaptors but then you'll be rinning very close to the arch and scrubbing issues.

Shame there not 8j or a bit narrower.

Yeh, I'd already given up a few posts back, but was asked what I was considering, hence the link.

I'm about to stretch 205/40 over 8J, on Edition 38 they say getting Parada's over that is gunna be tough as the side wall is so tough
