Having blown my turbo several weeks ago i decided that the best thing was to just go for it and do most of mods i had a my wish list (dont tell the wife).

So heres what i did

Hybrid pd 150 turbo

FMIC

Decat the exhaust

CCV mod

Big mouth conversion

Custom remap

18" rs4 alloys

Car looks really, good, got a soft spot for the rs4 alloys.

did you get a re map? if not, 209 bhp is a good start!

209 BHP AND 301 ft pound of torque really pleased but im told with the exhaust done and a few other bits ie clutch , should get a bit more!

Funny story about the RS4 alloys but to cut it short , bought them for £25 with grass growing out of them! refurbed them myself really pleased with the finish!!!

Not a bad map on a standard clutch

300lb-ft is about the limit

I dont think the clutch will last long but if you do decide to change it you could get mid 300's torque and an extra 20bhp

thats the plan, not sure about the single mass / dual mass fly wheel (dont really understand it and its benefits) it was a new dual mass put on it about 2 yrs ago.

Doing clutch and fly wheel is £1000 ish as oppossed to £550 ish just for the clutch.

SMF, pro's - stronger, can take loads of power & torque, lighter, rev's more freely & quicker.

Con's - noise, unproven claims it causes gearbox damage over time.

I got the spiders now lol, they at the powder coaters at the moment!

Floating in my boat. would kill for a new clutch/flywheel but dont know weather to go smf or dual mass. I couldnt put up with the noise and my parents telling my ive fu**ed it, its a piece of **** now.

yeah sold them to d7 gum who was very good waited a week or so for them i was flat out with new born!!!
