What do they look like in daylight???? :wonder:

Like it...where did you get them from, and were they a relatively easy fit?

You Can Hardly See Them In Day Light

The Lights Are These LIGHTS

And All You Do Is Cut The Cigarette Lighter Plug Off & Solder The Positive To The Positive Of The Inside Of The Red Light And The Same For The Negative.

It Took Me Half Hour To Do Easy.

You Don't Need To Start Each Word In A Sentence With A Capital Letter.

Apart from that nice work fitting the lights but they are a bit chav for my taste.

Still waiting for the "Are they legal" question. (Advert states show or off road use only, so probably not E Marked).

Im Confused, Why Would They Need To Be E Marked. You Can Only See Them When The Door Is Open????? :smirk:

Its Not Like They Are DRL's

As your not driving along with your doors open, when illuminated, (and not illuminated when doors closed and car moving), would not have thought a legal issue.

If displayed outside, white lights (apart from reversing lights) are to face forward and not effect drivers of oncoming traffic.

So when you stop the car, turn it off, open the door to get out at night, white light showing to the rear, Illegal. Daft I know, but that's the law.

Ahh Well Im Not Fussed, Untill Some Copper Tells Me Off They Are Staying

I like them, providing they look decent in day light too.

My RX-8 has white lights where the Fabia has red ones. Completely standard too I believe, so not sure what Mazda were thinking of flaunting such an important law! :D

Been doing some digging in to this by emailing the DVLA ECT. it is not illegal unless you are diving backwards with your doors open :giggle:, because the lights are under the door and are only on when the doors are open they can either be red or white, not any other colors like blue.

Really? I drive like that all the time - best re-think that idea! :D

But on a serious note, are the red ones not technically 'below' the door, as they're set into the door cards (same as my '8) so not too sure where we'd stand there. Either way, would expect you'd have to be hard pushed to fine a police officer tight enough to book you for them.

Could be argued why only fit the red lights to the front doors, why are they not in the rear doors,

or even the tailgate, when opened, and then theres the bonnet, if opened, (thats two blinders eh). Hmmmm!!!!! emoticon-0112-wondering.gifemoticon-0136-giggle.gif
