Headlight washer plastic cover

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have looked for the part number of the plastic cap that goes on the washer nozzle at the front on an Octavia II Elegance.

After a long drive on the motorway, the right one has gone so I am looking for a replacement.

The nozzle seems to still work OK however there is a very inelegant hole as this plastic cap/cover/'whatever this is called' at the front is missing.

Would anybody know if this has an independent part number or if it comes with the nozzle in a bundle?

Checking the nozzle nothing looks broken so not sure how it went off.

Closest I found is:

I am not sure if it is the right model + I am still wondering how to get the right colour.

Thanks all for your help.

Boris

These are just covers to go on top , I would inquire from your dealer for part number, then they are painted

Thanks for your answer.

I have verified and none of the front washer comes out anymore.

Let's go to the dealer to see what they can do. It's a bit annoying and this is not exactly a must-have function ;-)

I will let you know the outcome and part number(s).

Thanks,

Boris

I guess you'll need a tin of laquer too?

Pretty simple and cost effective DIY...

Thank you Silver ! I was away for some time and finally went to my dealer today and came back to this thread to update it, so thanks Silver1011 for your answer ;-)

I got mine for £5.59, they will give me call when they receive it this week.

Given the size of this stuff, I will try to discuss the spray for free :-D

Thanks again for your reply, much appreciated.
