A sore one nobody killed

Featured Replies

so much work goes into making cars like this these days its great to see people walk away from crashes more or less unharmed

and for the Police driver ............. the world of poo that will be down on top of him now :( having an accident under blue lights = not good tend to be heavily liable. Thankfully nobody seriously hurt though.

new Octy for the cab driver :D

Word around the camp fire says it not his fault.

Knowing the standard of driving from Taxi Drivers around here....

I'd hazard a guess that the Police car wasnt at fault ;)

Fabulous. A kangaroo court of keyboard warriors ready to pass judgement armed with nothing more than a couple of photos and a press clipping... :wonder: :dull:

Lighten up guys!

Look on the bright side, for anyone missing the under bonnet sound proofing I know where one might be going cheap

Is it wrong that I stifled a giggle at the previous comment?

Even though he cars look bad 2 things show the amount of money makes spend on crash tests

1. both cars show that the drivers doors opened and surely without any force

2. both have the windshields in one piece, seatbelts and airbags did their job

glad everyone is ok.

What an excellent example of how far crash testing and R & D has taken us. If that had been a Cortina & an Austin 1300 the headlines would have been very different.

That is where those millions go when developing a new car, and I thank them for it!

I'm still struggling a bit with the thread title, it reads like a cryptic crossword clue.

Or perhaps a factual knowledge of the circumstaces of this accident!
