Memory Seat Activation?

Featured Replies

The memory drivers seat has never worked i press set and hold 1,2, or 3 but i never get a chime.

Ive read on other forums (VW) that it has to be activated? seat forward, tilt forward, backrest forward but this doesn't seem to work either.

Any ideas guys/gals?

I have VCDS and no faults are showing, i can go into the mem seat controller menu (can't remember exact one, can find out)and some where it states memory seat 'inactive' but there is no option to activate.

I have rung my local (ish) dealer who says they will have to plug it into diagnostics before they doing anything else, is this the only option?

In my 2007 L&K I just pressed set followed by '1' (as in not both buttons together) within 10 seconds of each other and that was it.

This thread has some suggestions about resetting memory seats
