being a bit slow when it comes to all the numbers to do with oil,i seek a simple answer please.when at jabba sport about 8 months ago being re-mapped plus other things it was recomended to put in fully synthetic oil which i did ,the oil is shell helix ultra which i change about every 7/8000 miles

when serviced for the first time at 19000 miles i asked for fully synthetic which he did ,said it was also shell oil i am due to change again soon .

so the question is am i allright in yousing shell helix ultra.

I've got some Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 here and it meets VW500.00, VW502.00 and VW505.00 does that meet the spec. your car needs?

i dont no dave now that its at 230bhp,i was hoping someone with the same spec octy would help ,jabba just advised fully synthetic .
