What 'Superb' compliments do you get?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

Often get compliments on the car.

This weekend was at a local garden centre, and a very well-spoken gentelman comes up to us and says how he followed us in to the car park, and thought the car was stunning. Loved the lines, loved the look of the car, was impressed by the space. His friend in the village had just chopped his Audi in for an Octy estate. What car does he drive: A BMW Z4 and a 1 series!

What compliments have other Briskodians had about their Superb?

Its very shiny.

Have had comments when up at the golf club of how smart and expensive it looks. Never been confused for one of those lesser makes ;) , but comments on how loaded the kit is always follows.

How well it floats........on the M1 :D   :D

Hi Andy......... Just Joking.........................................

Night Fire Blue looks the dog's...shame i cant get an RS the same colour.

I was approached by an old chap last week when I was parked and he started off saying he couldn't believe it was a Skoda, then spent 10 minutes saying how he had a Skoda 20 odd years ago and ran it into the ground.

I'm always getting folk just staring at the badge and smiling. The biggest smiles though are from ladies in the back seats when they turn the heated seats up to Regulo 5 !

the most common thing i hear is

'oh ****! this is a skoda??' , but in greek, so its more like

"ela re malaka!!! skoda einai to motori?" :)))))))

i have the rear end of the car completely debagged, so many people first notice the car and then see the brand..

Immitation is the highest form of flattery. I was the first to bite the bullet when the Superb appeared on the company car list. Now there's 7-8 of them in the carpark!

Problem is, at this rate we'll need a bigger carpark! Do you tink Skoda could make the darn thing shrink by 2 foot when you want to park it?

I get it in my cab all the time - 'I cant believe this is a skoda' etc etc

My fave is 'these Skoda's aren't too bad now are they' which when translated actually means 'Holy ****, this is much nicer than my car, and it probably cost less'

I was at the Awesome GTI Rolling Road meet on Saturday with the UK-MKIV's.net guys and everyone was complimentary of the Skoda.

They couldn't fault it and it even got some pictures taken of her!!

Some of the guys are now looking into the LED's under the wing mirrors as they wish they had them on their Golf's and Bora's!!

Oh.........the 'Wetcase' and the 'Brolly' went down well as always, LOL!!

A lady friend test drove it, having said many bad things first (she heard lots of atrocious old stories about Skoda), and went totally thrilled. She commented that it drives like an Audi, looks like an Audi A6 or Beemer, and feels so responsive it was incredible. She loved it, and was hoping to persuade her hubby to change from a Jap vehicle to the Skoda.
