Advice on Double Din

Featured Replies

hey guys sorry if im asking a daft question!

have a chinese eonon dvd player in the car at the minute but really dont like the way it sits like 2 inches out from the dash and i want it gone!

im looking to get a double din cd player/mp3 player for as cheap as possible really (150 maximum)

all i want it to do is have somewhere to plug an mp3 stick into and be available to plug my subwoofer into.

any suggestions on something that doesnt stand out so far that it feels like its sitting next to you?

cheers for your advice in advance

andrew

There must be cables at the rear that you have got installed the wrong way around the rear plastic cage stopping it from being fully pushed in!! B)

I bet they are stuck on the plastic bar that is at the back.

Easiest way is to cut through it, as it gives you a bit more room to work with, especially when you have adapters etc.

i have cut through them lol. the front face on the eonon dvd players are mahoosive!

all i need is sub out rca's on the back and mp3 capability.

this eonon does 100000000000 things i dont need and ill be getting rid of sharpish.

surely someone has something to say?

If you only need them bits then get a single din. Try car audio & security they are normally cheapest

i dont need the little tray underneath so thats why im going double din again.

i couldnt have cup holders as i have a no eating and drinking policy after my fat friend managed to sit on a malteser:(

But if you don't NEED all the other features why pay for them?! Lol, in found cheap double din units look just that tbh. :-/
