as above, its 1 of those you see on here all to often, you know the 1..... * accelerates hard big bang,hiss,loss of power and very noisy like your airbox is no longer there! $#*% [choice language]* so i pull up to check and [hopefully] find a boost pipe disconnected,nothing visable at first from above but after 'nursing' her home, i ring my big bro for assitance jack up the front [****ing coilovers] and find the bottom pipe to the intercooler is off,bit of oil around,revved her on the spot,after reconnecting it seems ok, havent driven it again yet but fingers crossed shes ok now, i will have to give the pipework and the smic a real good clean out now though [been meaning to for ages actually].... but aslong as the kkk lives to fight another day im happy for now!

Loads of manufacturers use Garrett units.

When mine blew I got a garrett instead. Seems alot stronger.

Will be a weakened pipe joiner after its blown itself off

New pipe is £90

Or 4 self tappers at 90 degree spacing round the collar will see it right

I could tell it was only a pipe mate, done it with the top 1's before,heard it leaking just before and was kind of expecting it tbh, the seal on the lower pipe appears to have relieved itself of duty! its back on for now....
