HI,how loud would my 1.3mpi felicia be if i removed the back box,im thinking of this as ive seen the rally cars with the exaust coming out beside the rear wheel and after having a look under the car i can see that the exaust is very near to the sill anyway so was thinking of just cutting it and fitting a slashcut straight pipe but i dont want it to be excessively loud,any ideas anyone?

I needed to pinch the tailpipe from my 1.3MPi recce car during Rally GB 2007 (to put on the rally car as a bodge towards making it less hideously loud, as I didn't have a spare 2" one). Taking it off made little difference to the volume, it was just a bit more rorty, but this was partly because the exit was then under the car rather than at the side. Certainly it stayed like that for a couple of months and I was using it daily at the time.

put a straight through on the centre pipe and fit diesel rear box(50mm bore instead of 42mm bore) and that will make it a little louder, nothing too serious though
