ive dropped the fabia like 70mm aswell and well i was hoping id get away with it for a little while:(

I would have thought you would want 40 profile tyres not 50 for 17 inch wheels. 50 profile will be 7.7% (46mm in diameter) larger and will affect the spedo (70 indicated will actually be 75.4mph). 40 profile is 0.83% different (5mm in diameter).

i dont speed or nout and 99% of my driving is on B roads so thats not a massive problem. im guna bang them on tomorrow and see how it looks/goes. if crap then in the shed they go!
