I found this parked in Cali, Colombia and it looks like it isn´t currently running. What year and model is it?

I think it's a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%A0koda_1000_MB or one of its variants. I've never even seen photos of one before, but I knew it had to fit in between the RWD Octavia and Felicia, and the 100 series.

Yes its an MB the grandfather of the Estelle (and father of the S series)....in fact its the basis of both in that the engines, chassis and layout remained virtually the same from its inception until the end of the Estelle in 1992. The only mechanical difference between this 60s car and a 1992 Estelle are a steering box intead of rack, a rear mounted radiator instead of a front mount and a 5 port iron cylinder head instead of an alloy 8 port (although the 5 port engine lasted until almost the end....1991 I think)

There's a handful in the UK, Terry brought his to the big Gaydon meet a couple of years ago of which there should be plenty of photos.
