Hi all, new to skoda and have recently bought a 51 plate octavia 1.9 tdi estate 130k.

Got to say its a nice car drives well and no faults other than a broken wire in the door loom which stopped the drivers door motor locking off the remote but i sorted that today so all is good!!

I was a mechanic for 10 years since school,but changed careers 3 years ago to an unpopular one but i enjoy it anyway :)

I have been on other forums (T5D5) as i used to have a V70 T5 and the guys on there were great so i hope it carries on here!!i see you have your on tech section and if i have any useful info i will always help where i can but most of you will know about skodas more than me!! :)

Hi,

Am new to this, my name is Steve and i have owned a skoda Fabia 1.9TDi 2002 on a 51plate. Car is an 86000 miler and a good workhorse. However has an annoying fault at the moment no power steering assistance. Hope someone can help.
