A Skoda dealer, unless I have misinterpreted your question? If you just want to tidy it up you could no doubt remove it and give it a good polish. I believe it is a metal pipe rather than a hose in order to prevent hose damage in that location from movement etc.

Have you considered other more functional mods like central locking, alarm to provide remote central locking, remote boot release etc?

the metal pipe has a hole in it where the pipe gos to the water bottle so i think i will give skoda a ring cheers matey i would like to do the mods above would they be easy to do and would it pay to get them from a breaker then i could get the hole kit

Crikey tough going to get a hole in there - thought you just wanted it shiny to go with the blue hoses :)

Unfortunately Central Locking would have to be aftermarket - well it would make the job a whole lot easier. The models with factory central locking have entirely different handle mechanisms internally and a different type of switch for the interior light. Skoda make a kit tailored for Fabias without CL, which is quite expensive (probably now over £130 after VAT increase). It's quite an intensive job involving removing quite a bit of trim. See http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/169820-fabia-central-locking-retrofit-part-deux/ The result is worth it though IMO.

I'm sure I read somewhere on here that a boot release latch from a model with one can be used - although I bought a cheap generic boot release actuator. Not got round to doing the remote boot release as yet though.
