Hey everyone, finally got round to fitting my splitter and whiteline rarb. Not gonna do a big write up cos theres thousssssssands on there but took me and my dad about 50 mins to fit which i didnt think was too bad for two joiners felt the difference straight. Been driving with it for a few days now and can say there well worth it for anyone who's debating getting one!

I think the splitter is a must on a Vrs as they suit them so well. I test fitted it on my own a few weeks back with some tape, as i was bored, and when i took it off it look so bare! Glad its on now I also took advantage of powerbulbs discount and got some Osram indicator bulbs. Personally i love them may not be to some peoples taste though! got some for the rear too but not too keen on those, ill have to see if they grow on me.

Fitted mine today mate and did my jabba roll bar the other week. Roll bar defo makes a big difference

Fairly easily mate, think it needs a very slight trimming with a stanley and then hold it on with tape to make sure it's centre. They just self tappers if I remember correctly. Theres a guide on here somewhere.

They used to be cheap as chips (£18?) but are about £40 now I think :-(

Nope, other than the holes made by the self tappers.

Personally, I don't like the splitter. I like the idea of a splitter but the SEAT one looks too much like it's designed for a different car (which it is, of course).

I've had mine on for ages - but a run in with a kerb at the jet wash ripped it clean off - Now I actually like it without the splitter on. However it is now pretty low and its a black car so it doenst make a huge difference

Liking the splitter - quite fancy it for mine even though it isn't a vrs.

Where did you get the rear arb from? I fitted one on my Golf and it made such a difference, even just going round roundabouts felt much better.

Hi m8 any chance u cn take a pic square on at the front middle just want to see hw urs looks started mine today and the middle gap is smaller thn the front bumper and doesn't fit flush at the frint middle corners cud cut it in but no-one else has seemed ti have this issue so must be a way around it cheers dude

It's makes all the difference IMO, transforms the car.

Got the rarb from awesome gti and yeah its fairly easy if you can jack it up or put it on axel stands which i didnt have :no:

Yes but should be around £30 from a seat dealer.
