I saw a white vRS Estate like mine with a bodged/vinyl roof and thought it looked a bit naff compared to the hatch roof in black from factory. The Estate gets black rails anyway so not really much of an issue.

I am glad mine doesn't have the black pack, think it suits some colours better.

Haven't picked it up so can't advise on part numbers.

Agree with the comment about the Monte body kit I think it looks a bit ott, just my opinion.

Seeing the black pack for the first time was cool, previously didn't like the sound of it but looks great in the flesh.

Noticed the traditional (sounds better than old) badges. Guess skoda has a big box of them and will use them up, no way will they just throw them out, easy change as is the Ariel, although doesn't bother me tbh.

Glad I could be of help putting up pics of a combo people haven't seen yet.

Hi dickyd, like it! Wasnt a fan of the black pack but its grown on me, now impartial to that or chrome, think both look good and a vrs is a vrs at the end of the day. Be thankful also that it doesnt look like a monte, all the better without the "bolt-on" bodykit. Dark chromes also the best looking wheel by far

(but only in MY humble opinion)

black pack looks good on the vrs but it still monte parts, it should stay on the monte only tho, so both versions of the fabia are different

Depends on what you mean by lower end model. It may be cheaper but if they did a "Monte Carlo VRS" with a 1.4TSi engine would it still be lower end?

Even though I ordered a VRS I still think the Monte Carlo looks better. When I ordered mine I did it before I had even heard of the Black Pack but only went for the VRS because of the performance.

I for one am delighted that my car has been built week 24 and "should" have the black pack on as I think it makes the car look better. However, if I got chrome I wouldn't be disappointed as that is what I ordered.

Some members prefer the chrome others prefer the black pack. It is all about personal preference. But does the black pack make the car look cheaper - no I don't agree.

I agree my VRS was a week 20 build in red with black roof and wheels. When you combine this with the black roof pillars and mirrors the chrome grill looks totally out of place. I’ll be ordering my black grill this week I think. I’m not totally convinced about the smoked headlights though. When I went to collect mine from the dealers they had a Monte in the same colour scheme and I think I preferred the normal lights. But as with all these things it’s all a matter of personal taste.

Can anyone with Black Pack lights shed any info on the bulbs themselves? The manual hasn't been updated and im wondering if theyre still H7's - or something different being Bi-Halogen.

The latest PDF of the manual states H4 LL for cars with halogen lamps and H7 LL for cars with halogen projector lights. I am taking it the projector lights in question are the curve projector lights.

Can someone with a physical copy of the current manual confirm this is correct? I would like to get some upgraded bulbs fitted to my vRS when it arrives and I would like to be certain I have the correct bulbs.

i thought the black pack had the black trim along the arches? with thatt it would look ace
