wanted lowering springs 30 - 40 mm in good conditions or reckomendations off cheapish ones . cheers Dan

Brand new springs with 35mm drop for under £100

Dunno what they are like mind you, but if all you're worried about is

getting lower as cheaply as possible then you can't go wrong with these.

They will probably cause wear to accelerate on the stock shocks though.

Depends which set suits your car as you

don't say what engine type you have but they are all the same

price anyway. Just different axle weights I'd imagine.

Would have thought lowering 40mm would put a big strain on stock dampers. I'd say 25mm would be perfect any lower and is think about uprated dampers.

I had 50mm Eibach springs in my old focus 1.8 on [albeit brand new] KYB OEM style shocks and had no issues over 30K. I know that they are different cars entirely but just adding my 2P.

Has any one here tried the 55mm superSprint springs? I know that they make quality exhaust components and dont suppose that they would put their name to something a bit rubbish.

Wow thats great the Pro kit does 40mm.

I had a Pro spring kit in my 182 and they only lowered 5mm but changed the ride of the car completely :D
