Would I be right in thinking that DSG mapping would, amongst many other things, be used to apply a torque limit through the box in the early gears to enable the ECU map to use the, possibly, over 350nm torques that the DSG is purported to be limited by? Or would this all be top secret and if you told me you'd have to kill me......

Dont know, but I'm pretty sure I saw the same thing as Ben today...

I might've also seen the torque limiters changed but can't be sure yet...

I actually heard from a reliable source, that DSG7 might be in the pipeline after this.

Of course I cant promise anything, these are just rumours...

Worth it. Im thinking launch control, semi slick tyres and santa pod for a sub 5 second 0-60

Well it's your situation that prompted us to revisit DSG programming. We'd already done a lot of research and development but didn't think it was something that customers really needed.. and we haven't really been asked for it that often either. Now we see that there's definitely a use for it on some cars such as your own, and we'd like to offer a wider range of services to customers so that people who do want their DSG box remapping don't have to go elsewhere.

Seeing as we now in 2013 any Developement on DSG7 Gearbox remap?
