They're currently available to order, but none have been seen in these parts.

I wonder if I'll be one of the first to get one :D - probably not :(

Still it gives me time to save up.

Ordered mine mid January, not expected until mid April. Problems with supply of parts for 2.0TDi engines apparently. Also looking for one 'in the flesh'!

lightcliffe motors in halifax have a goldy coloured 20 tdi elegance. Had a quick look in the boot and noticed it had a under floor compartment, don't know if this is standard.

Saw one yesterday - really like and better yet, so does t'other half :D

Auto Sales of Cannock have one in the showroom.

Very lovely it is too( I so love the new interiors as well)

Great lines and can't think of a colour that would spoil them.

So yes they are out there but yes there are delays relating to engine supply but this applies to all of the octavia range :)

Mitchells, Ellesmere Port have one in the show room. They phoned me this morning to ask whether I would like to view it. Don't know what spec etc. but might look this afternoon.

Snap - especially as mine is a factory special order (went mad with the extras list).

My 2.0 TDI PD Elegance Estate + extras advised build week 9. Checked today via dealer. Computer said build week 14 but quickly revised to week 12. Means delivery possibly week 14?

Lease company has supplied Honda CRV Sport as an interim vehicle. SWMBO has "stolen" my Elegance 1.8T 4x4 estate as a shopping car! Good in the snow though.

Looked at an Elegance Octavia Estate pdi 140bhp this morning. Can't say I was particularly impressed. It's more of a sports estate with a very marked rear slope thus restricting interior room considerably. I honestly can't see much advantage over the hatchback. Also, it seems to be expensive; nearly

At the price level, I'd be looking at an Accord Tourer 2.2 cDTI. Better emissions, good kit, should last well, it's bigger......

Considered an estate but no real gain in usable space for nearly

Ordered my 2.0 TDi Elegance Estate last november. It arrived last week lovely, in stone grey with heated front seats. Only problem was the dealer refused to honour the price he offered it to me at in november, we didn't bother to fill out an order form at the time as we had bought 4 skodas off him in the last 18 months and he had always honoured his deals.

Needless to say I've already sold one of our skoda's and will be offlaoding the other ASAP never to return to the brand!!!

Skoda is shooting itself in the foot by closing the small dealers if the don't spend millions in new premises ( two local to me have closed in the last twelve months) its reducing competition and forcing up skoda prices. As an example i could have had an audi A3 2.0 tdi Sport 5 dr for only

Ive got a black 2.0TDi on order from mid January through work. Supposed to be arriving end March/early April but I was in Keiths in Bradford yesterday and the saleman said order today, delivery September so I dont know when Ill get mine.

Im not sure that youd get a a Honda Tourer for this money. I looked seriously at the Honda, definitley a nice car, cracking engine but to get all the kit thats on the Elegance its a lot more money. Diesel Car magazine had one on long term test until it got stolen. They liked the car but had some niggles about various things. In the end I decided to go for the Skoda as we bought a Fabia VRs last and have been very impressed, certainly a better car than my Saab 2.2 TDi SE which the Elegance will replace.

I just phoned my dealer today for mt 2L TDI with lots of toys - due for build in week 10 and delivery around 4 weeks later (i.e. April) :D:D

He did say I was really luck to be getting it as soon.
