Cheers :) It doesent handle as well as the mini that seems to be the only downside so far i love the straight line speed when using the flappy paddles B) and the seats are very comfy compared to the mini. I just hope it doesent lose too much money when i come to trade it in in three years time!!! Oh and its made life much more easier in terms of putting our 2year old in the back and doing the weekly shop, that was hard work with the mini but we managed just about lol

what kind of deal did you get if you dont mind me asking?

looking at deals for the vrs with part exchange with my Clio 172.

Very nice and different with the white wheels and roof

I do like the white wheels.

Mini handling appears superior to Fabia whether Mk1 or the MK2.

Fabia has a narrow wheel-base and is taller giving it a higher point of gravity and make it typically top-heavy.

Fitting a rear anti-roll-bar will help compensate problem, some members have reported.

I do feel envious of your new car, as I love red coupled with the white roof ticks all my boxes.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Like the colour combo. Bit of a change from the usual red and black (mine). I'm just not surw I could live with cleaning the wheels every time I go out.

The car itself was just short of 14k with delivery miles and we got 4k trade in on the mini which i was happy with as mini didnt even offer us that much when we were looking around. The rest has been put on a pcp contract at £153 a month so all in all im very happy with that deal B)

looks very tidy fellow dw member ;)

Excellent choice, hope you got a good deal. I have a 5 year old and a 21 month year old and the Fabia is the easiest car i have had to get them in and out of in the last 3.

Do enjoy it !

PS did it come with any extras other than roof and wheels ?

Liking that a lot, White wheels are a pain to keep clean but look stunning when done

I have white wheels too (with rally green) they look tops!

I have comments on my car 70% of the time I'm in a petrol station.... a few weeks ago, I had a mini cooperS driver actually follow me into the supermarket carpark to talk about my car! he said he was looking to buy one, thought it might have been you 'till I saw your location! (and the fact that yours wasn't an "s"

enjoy your new car

Very nice vRS looks good in red with the white wheels & roof  :p

Enjoy it :)

No the roof and wheels where the only extras if i was having a factory build i would have had sat nav and climate control and electric windows in the back but i would have prob had a long wait for it to turn up

Fair shout - instant pleasure then !!!

pretty sweet deal that mate!

Thanks :)

Bye bye Mini! ;)

Great color combo by the way. I don't think I've seen others in red with white roof.

Nice motor, dont worry about it being base spec, it will pretty much be worth the same trade later on with our without options. Unless you were buying the car to keep indefinitely i'd never load one up with too much kit you'll never see any sort of useful return on it.
