new octavia vrs owner - with problems - help?

Featured Replies

had my octavia vrs tdi 170 (pd) about a month or so now, and it's always in the garage, they've replaced the turbo and i'm still having the same problem so here goes...

basically i have no low rev power until 2500 rpm, then when it gets to 2500 rpm it goes, but its hesitant to go and feels like its holding back. when it idles it ticks over at about 1000rpm and feels 'lumpy' and not smooth.

and the dpf light has been on every day for the last 3 days, until today, where I was driving and it came on, I drove constantly because luckily i'd been out for the day and it never went off, then about an hour later the 'coil' light started flashing and now its in limp mode.

any ideas what the problem is and how I can resolve it???

when i have no low rev power this seems to be the start of the cycle, then the dpf comes on eventually then doesnt really go off!!! :-(

the fault code we found was - 08194.

thanks
