Can you just unplug your fogs? Will it cause any dash warnings?

I got some cheapies from Ebay and the chrome had scrapped off a little bit on one bulb (presumably in transit). The silver/blue indicator bulbs in Halfords are Osram Diadems bunged in a Halfords branded box. Worth buying those if you have a trade card.

I bought some silver indicator bulbs from ebay last year for £3 IIRC and they are pretty orange and passed MOT last year no probs.

You can unplug fogs no issues, i removed them on the estate.

No deterioration of the silver coating so far.

Passed 2 mots (even with part tinted rears)

The Osram Diadems are slightly cheaper, but from what I've seen, when off have a bluish colour, which I'm wasn't keen on. Both of these flash orange, I think they are slightly less intense than standard ones (as expected), but perfectly OK in bright sunlight, also are E-marked so should be perfectly legal. If you buy cheap bulbs from fleBay may not be bright or e-marked. I have read on some forums that 'Silvatec' Bulbs can not be seen in bright daylight.

I'd also recommend you buying the bulbs from PowerBulbs.com I've used them a few times and got great service from them. If you do a search, you may find a 10% discount code. As a freedom member I think you get 15% off.
