Short of a round journey to the nearest Skoda dealer, I find that Halfords do not stock suitable windscreen wiper replacement rubbers (driver and passenger) for the above models. There is no mention of these items in the company's catalogues, the shop assistant, checking on the computer of updates also drew a blank.

Has anyone else had this experience? (I expect the nearest dealer will need several days for them to be obtained from central stores and the price no doubt will be double any equivalent!)

not for the fabia but my fiancée has a corsa d and halfords didn't stock there wipers the cars been out for years.

Winning

I tried some blades from wiperblades.co.uk and the quality and fitting was poor and the plastic cheap and they were no cheaper than the genuine ones I quickly replaced them with. I thought it was better than a trip to the dealer, I was wrong and paid twice.

Just bought a new rear wiper from my Skoda dealer for my Fabia estate for just £7.30 incl VAT. It's the original OEM unit. That's cheaper than the www.wiperblades.co.uk for a similar good one.
