There are quite a few subtle modifications I'd like to make to my vRS, and I was just wondering if someone had experience in installing (not sure if thats the right word) these:

Is it just a matter of cutting the space out with a Dremel and glueing these in place of it? Any tips, pointers would be much appreciated.

I would cut 2-3mm smaller than you need and take the rest out gently with a sander/ sandpaper...

if you do fit the vents let me know cos im planning similar for mine...

Its from Milotec @ http://www.milotec.de ... I seem to recall some other types of vents as well, but I couldnt find one that quick... the principal of installing remains the same though I should think.

I notice from looking at the Milotek site that the dials of the Octavia's they have used seem to differ from ours (apart from KMH obviously ) Do foriegn Octavia's have different dials because in my obpinion they are not as nice. Infact they look very Fabai-ish! You can see them in this link Dials

Those dials are a bit like those in the new Mondeo. IMHO they look naff and spoil the look of the instrument panel.

I think that main instrument pod and markings on the Octavia are a little bland and the chrome dial rims do liven it up without going down the lairy white dials route. What's good for Audi ?

how do you remove the pod to change the dials?
