stiffer suspension option that doesnt lower the car?

Featured Replies

Is there a heavy duty or stiffer suspension option that doesnt lower the car? The car might handle better if it was lowered but its just not an option for me :'(

I have to drive a lot of places in the countryside where the front splitter, sump god knows what else are bashing the ground - so if the stock suspension off something like the 4x4 or estate version might be an improvement, then maybe its worth me considering?

Anyone got any ideas?

4x4 suspension won't fit it, as the rear setup is totally different.

There is a heavy duty suspension setup available from Skoda though. It was used on vehicles sold to certain countries with rough roads. It was a build option from the factory.

No idea how you'd find out the spring/damper part numbers though!

Dont Koni do some dampers? You might be able to find some standard height springs but stiffer.

there's a spring company in Sheffield think I just googled the spring company, costs around £100 for a pair of springs made to your spec ie 25% stiffer than standard. emailed them for sierra springs but won a pair of apex ones on eBay for £40 so never got any from them in the end lol. Worth a try m8

do you know their name pls?

Are Koni dampers the same length as standard ones? I just assumed that they'd drop the car by 25mm+ for sportier handling??

B) Found it My link

Any good m8?

Bilstein do sport shocks for the Octavia.

I nearly bought some but went for coilovers instead in the end
