Radio surround panel

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I want to remove the silver radio surround panel off the dash of my 06 vrs.The car is an ex company motor and has a phone bracket fitted and i want to remove it without doing any damage.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mark.

Half open the ashtray lid in front of the gear lever to give your fingers access to the bottom part of the fascia, then prise it towards you and work your way up around the sides and over the top. I found the top was the must stubborn section to remove, but it's doable.

Don't be afraid about giving it a little force, it should give ok, and if the worst comes to the worst you'll be able to pick up a replacement from a dealer for around a tenner.

As above, all I would add is if you have a plastic spatual or an old credit you can slid this under the trim as you work around. It is a piece of cake though.
