Speaker Grills

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 56 plate superb and as many people have managed to crack the rear speaker grill.

I have read on various sites that you can buy a replacement grill and solder the back to attach but cant for the life of me find any.

Skoda say you have to buy complete doorcard, but I have seen people say they have purchased them.

Does anyone know where I can get one?

Don't know if they are the same size, but my father damaged the speaker covers on his 2004 SEAT Arosa, he bought a pair of these for something like £15 so I guess it is possible. All we had to do was remove the door card of the Arosa (I say door card, but it was half the size of the Superb as the most of the Arosa door was exposed metal).

We then used a soldering iron to melt the old one off with the plastic lugs, and fitted the new ones.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

After days of searching i still havent found one.

Im considering removing the over side now and putting black grills to cover the gaps

Just a thought, but can you find any cheapish aftermarket grilles the same size?

I'll be looking into this soon as I've got a cracked one on my Seat
