Servicing Advice please

Featured Replies

My car goes to a very reputable Vag specialist for its 76k service on Saturday, whilst there its also having done a few things that were advisories on the MOT.

console bushes + arb and arb bushes

Am i able to change both of these myself rather than pay extra labour to the garage to fit them?

Im looking at powerflex ones simply to match the rest of the bushes on the car, does anyone have any experience of removing the arb and replacing?

may thanks guys

Would take a day to fit yourself....not to difficult if you've got a Haynes manual.....just a sod to cut/hack/drill the old console bushes out...and the whole subbframe needs supporting on a jack as you have to lower it to get the ARB between it and the car!!.....if you have the tools and the skill it's ok...if not then don't do it.
