Why not? OK, I know the Clerk of the Course is just driving the stage to check that it is 'safe' but .....

.... based on EVO magazine's performance of their 1.8TSI around the Bedford Autodrome 'track'; I'd wager that a Yeti would post a pretty respectable time, if driven competitively, on a Rally Stage.

EVO car was only quick because of the rubber it was wearing. A Yeti without a lot of weight saving and other work wouldn't see which way most rally cars went.Even - or especially- a 35 year old Escort Mk2 would blow a Yeti into the middle of next week. The Yeti would do well in the roadgoing soft roaders under 2litre class- if it existed.
