Problem playing music via bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi,

I hope someone can help. Despite following the manual step by step I can't seem to get my Samsung Galaxy S2 to play music via Bluetooth (We've got the GSM phone installation).

The phone syncs with the car & phonecalls work great but when I try to play music my phone tells me that that the car has rejected the mp3.

I've activated voice control & said 'Music' which is understood by the car...but no sound! :-(

Has anyone solved this riddle?....if anyone has synced with an iphone I'd welcome their advice as I could always try with the wifes phone.

Thanks in advance

Doug

I only know that Samsung phones are a bit awkward. With father in laws 1 i had to go into settings and allow bluetooth signal from car. If you google samsung phones skoda bluetooth it should come up thats how i found the fix.

Hope this helps.

i have synced with my iphone no problem and can get music over bluetooth

I have a Samsung Galaxy S1, and i must say works perfectly fine with the system, and that's with Android 2.3. All I do is hold the steering wheel button down wait for the beep, say "Music", then after the beep, say "play" or "Next track". After you have done this select the MEDIA button then select BT - Audio, and make sure the volume is turned up on the phone. Hope this helps.

I've synced both an X10i (1.6, 2.1) and a Optimus2x (2.2) with my car, no problems what so ever.

If you are going to use the voice-commands, you must say "play" aswell otherwise it wont do a thing.

If the built-in mediaplayer in your phone don't work, try "MixZing".

That's the mediaplayer I've been using on my phones.

Hope this helps!
