Fabia VRS 1.4 and PD160

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I am the proud owner of a Red/Black fabia VRS 1.4 (petrol) '10 plate. The car is too new apparently for Jabba to remap it for me however

I am considering other options in the mean time. Air induction being the first. Most owners it would seem are of the opinion that removing or even tampering with the air box is a bad thing however the favourite mod for the diesel VRS is swapping the standard air pipe for one off a Seat Ibiza (PD160). It looks like it will fit mine but has any one done it to confirm it will? Answers on a post card please...

Seriously though I was considering cotton cones and stuff but common opinion is against that or is it?

Any other basic mods worth doing? Like a rear ARB maybe? Front brace even?

Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the forum

Shark Performance can now remap these. janner_Sy has had his done, and let's just say it goes pretty well

His thread about it is here

Hi and welcome aboard.

Pretty sure the inlet won't fit, air box is quite different as is the slam panel.

Definately the rear ARB , makes a huge difference

Also if I am correct the MK1 one will fit too

But will leave that for good ol Techie to give the deffo ;)
