hey all the previous owner of my car has cleaned the headlights with a cleaner that wasnt ment to be used by the look of it, the plastic has reacted badly and become cloudy and when the light are on they look dim even under full beam. can you buy just the plastic covers or will two new head lights be needed

p.s the car is dirty i will wash it soon

Google 'wetsanding headlights'. Save your self a few quid.

If not, you can get the another set of lights (and either use those) or melt the glue holding them together, and swap the glass with the current set. Personally, I'd sand, polish etc them first.

Go to a scrapyard, or do what I did and use a fine grade wet/dry abrasive on them, it helps a lot but I still don't think mine will ever be perfect again

I agree with the wet sanding and polishing I used to work in a garage and it does work great just not 100%
