Mixed day.......

Had a rather mixed day today....

Took my Fab into Rainworth Skoda for annual service, they found a couple of bits on it - needs new fan belt and a cv joint cover, hope both will be fairly cheap but they couldn't sort today.

The chap in charge of the service dept today was just covering for someone else so wasn't too knowledgable but the guy that actually did the work was nice, didn't get his name but he had tattoos and those earrings that stretch your ears...ouch....overall was impressed with them and will definitely use again.

Whilst I was waiting I took a Fab 2 VRS out for a spin (Mark was the sales guy, again very nice). I like the styling, the exhaust note, the interior quality, the different colour combinations but really didn't get on with the gearbox at all. Have driven DSG cars before but found it really jerky. Will be sticking to my 101k 53 plates diesel VRS!!
