Road from Rishton to Great Harwood

Featured Replies

I wonder if the driver of the light grey Yeti I followed from Rishton to Great Harwood this evening is a member?

There was a silver Yeti parked near my house in Clitheroe this afternoon.

I intend that there is one there more permanently in the not too distant future if I enjoy the test drive (if I ever get it).

p.s. have you had dealings with Simpsons in Colne?

Hi Malcy

Re Simpsons, yes thst's where my Yeti came from and my last but one car was avRoomster, also from Simpsons.

They've been great.

Simpsons Preston are spot on ,friend has an Octy VRS etate from the Colne branch and they did him proud

Silver 4 x 4 Yeti in Mellor near me - owner spotted me on Morrisons 2 weeks ago and is over the moon with it- not on here yet though I don't think

We are currently in the Dordogne on holiday - from leaving Lancashire have only seen 2 SM's - Cappucino on the M25 and Silver in Riberac today ,amazing, I've seen nearly as many Lancia Stratos' (Strati?) in the last 2 days!

I have a BMW 1 series currently which has been superb and totally reliable but it just can't tackle the snow covered roads that I am meeting during recent winters such as Nick of Pendle / Sabden area and the last stretch up to work. It's embarrassing having to park at the bottom of the hill and walk into work. So I want a 4wd of some kind. It's either a 140/170 4x4 Yeti or a year old BMW X1 X-Drive from Lloyds. I'm really struggling to get a 140 or 170 4x4 Yeti for a test drive from Simpsons in Colne ATM.

p.s. I saw a red 2wd yeti in Sainsburys Clitheroe today and there is a silver Yeti that lives in a house up the road from me.

Hi Malcy,

I wonder if the silver Yeti is the same one I've seen on the Tesco car park?

I'm on holiday at the moment but you're more than welcome to have a run in/crawl all over mine when I get back. It's a 140 Elegance. I think it's better than an X1.

I was sure though that Simpsons at Colne had a demonstrator or vat least I've seen Salesmen running round in one.

Simpsons Colne have a 1.2 2WD demo but they have a CR140 4x4 (SE I think) in the showroom. It's the long waiting list that bothers me as the wait for a suitable demo is just pushing things back. I may take you up on your kind offer if I can't sort something out. :)

Regarding the waiting list, I was originally going to have a 110 4x4 SE with a 12 week wait, but bought Simpsons 140 Elegance demonstrator with 3k miles. It's been great and currently on it's third European Vacato.
