Anyone in Scotland ....

The below if from Skoda UK...

The Press and PR department at Å KODA UK needs your help. We need older vRS models that HonestJohn.co.uk can photograph for a feature celebrating 10 years of the performance flagship badge in the UK. If you or any of your customers own any of the cars listed below, and are happy to lend the cars to Honest John for a couple of days, please email [email protected] or call 01908 601797.

Cars we are looking for

2001-2006 Octavia vRS Estate – 1.8 T petrol 180bhp (any colour)

2001-2006 Octavia vRS Hatch – 1.8 T petrol 180 bhp (any colour)

2003-2007 Fabia vRS – 1.9 diesel (any colour, but special edition blue would be preferable)

Honest John needs the cars for one or two days between now and the end of August. The cars will not be driven hard or ‘race tested’, but they may be driven on roads and at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire for tracking shots. The cars could be driven for a maximum of 100 miles, but if older cars have mileage limits we will happily stick to them.

Full insurance will be provided by Å KODA UK. We will also arrange for the cars to be collected by trailer and will ensure they receive a full valet before returning them.

A small token of gratitude

As a small token of our appreciation for helping Honest John, anyone lending us any of the cars above will receive four tickets to this year’s Rally of Scotland (7-9 October) and four ŠKODA UK Motorsport jackets.

Can you help?
