very good reviews on that product to m8. can be used on the paintwork too . may have to get me some. cheers

I wouldn't recommend something that wasn't good now would I? :D

Yes, doubles as a paint sealant too, although I just use it on wheels.

Wardy's spot on here, if your looking for a cheaper alternative and more in volume of the product then look for FK1000P and Collinite 476s......

how long does that jetseal stuff last for? i currently use poorboys black hole and poorboys nutty wax (summit like tht lol) would this jetseal stuff work well with it. im a complete noob sorry :L

cheers

It's extremely resilient. I used it on my alloys when I put them on in October and they're still protected now.

You could incorporate it into what you're using now, as an extra stage.

Top advice!. Cheers mate ordering some now :)

I never use wax on alloys..It can attract brake dust

I use Wolfs Brake Duster as the cleaner

Follow that with Poorboys EX-P sealer and a coat of Optimum Opti-Seal when cured

Best combination I've used!!

JetSeal isn't a wax though Chris, it's a sealant.

Or did you just mean that as a general comment?

Think he was referring to my suggestions......... :(

I don't agree however and depends on the wax you apply.......

Ahh OK, with you.

I think our opinions have differed on this before ;)

I have two coats of Jetseal on mine, and a layer of 476 on top of that. Haven't noticed any extra dust on the wheels as a result, and they're as easy to hose down as ever.

As a point for the OP: Dan, when they are sealed make sure you then just use a normal shampoo solution to clean the wheels. I've known people carry on using strong wheel cleaners/degreasers/APCs after sealing - which will just break down the protection you have built up :)

As recommended by Mr B I used FK1000P when i did my alloys in black back in Feb/March.

I think/assume it helped protect them.

They looked super shiny when i applied it and still kind of look shiny when I clean them.

Which given is normally weeks or sometimes months between washes is testiment enough i think.

Besides i've found brake dust sticks to absolutely everything anyways!

i use carlack 68 to clean and seal, then a coat of colly 476.

Yes, that's fine.

Come back to this section of the forum when your AG stuff runs out though ;)
